The 2006 was our first vintage.  We were very fortunate that our first bottling was outstanding and we received our first award that year, even thought it was very young for a pinot noir.  Subsequently, with the exception of a few bottles, we have sold out our 2006.

The 2007 was a different story.  The weather was a little cooler into the fall, so the harvest was later.  Although the 2007 required more aging, it is beginning to develop special characteristics of its own now and some believe it will surpass the 2006.

Our 2008 is beautiful right out of the gate.  It’s a tasting surprise.  The color is extraordinary and the flavor is smooth.  As it ages, it well may be the best vintage thus far.
